Description of Golf Course and Club

Designed by Tom Doak & Mike Clayton and opened in December 2004. Barnbougle Dunes is rated as the number 1 Public Access golf course in Australia as well as the 49th best course in the world by Golf Magazine in the U.S. Barnbougle Dunes is a true links golf course like you will find in Ireland & Scotland. The course meanders through towering sand dunes just meters from the ocean, the course can be challenging depending on the strength of the wind you find on the day. The clubhouse & restaurant comes highly recommended. Accommodation is available on site, only a short 2 minute walk from the club house our 4 star cottages are a perfect stop off after your round before you hit the 19th.
