Golf Course Description
 As South Australia’s No 1 public access course, the Links Lady Bay golf course lives up to its name. Bound by the ocean and surrounded by rugged natural beauty, this 18-hole championship links course is embraced by coastal breezes and stunning backdrops providing an experience you will never forget and an absolute golfer’s paradise. 

Designed by Jack Newton, Graeme Grant and John Spencer, Links Lady Bay is a true St Andrews style sand based links course that challenges golfers at all levels. With stunning views of the coastline and ocean, the course offers golfers smooth and subtle bent greens, long undulating fairways and strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. The Par 3 on the 17th Hole is a magnificent hole, with the coastline in the distance, tufted grass in the rough and ample bunkers – you know you are on one the truly great Links Courses.

Located on the West Coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula at Yankalilla Bay, Links Lady Bay is just 1 hour’s drive south of Adelaide and you will enjoy stunning coastal scenery as you wind your way along the coastal route to Lady Bay. The region’s magnificent white, sandy beaches, boutique wineries, tranquil coastal towns, array of water sports and horse riding are just some of the other activities available in the region.

An exciting new addition to the course is the forthcoming opening of the Links Lady Bay Grand Mercure apartments, comprising of 42 new studio apartments - due to open on 1st July 2007.  The new apartments feature superior furnishings including kind bed, spa and private balcony providing breathtaking views of the Links Lady bay golf course and Yankalila Bay.  In addition, Accor Premier Vacation Club has purchased the ground floor of this new accommodation which will form part of their international time-share business. The hotel accommodation will be operated under the 4 ½ star Accor Grand Mercure brand.

For group golf trips, the resort also offers luxury 2 and 3 bedroom luxury apartments – St Andrews Boulevard Apartments. These apartments are fully self-contained - ideal for groups and longer stays – and just a good “3 wood shot” from the Lady Bay Hotel and Clubhouse.  Links Lady Bay is a great place to base yourself and opportunity to explore the many other tourist attractions in the region. 

Touring further down the West Coast to the Southern most point of the Fleurieu Peninsula is Cape Jervis, just 20 minutes drive from Links Lady Bay.  Here you can also take a daily ferry service over to Kangaroo Island to explore the tranquil, natural beauty of this idylic Island. With over one third of Island protected as a National Park, you can see an abundance of wild life and enjoy spectacular scenery.
