Oatlands Golf Club was founded in 1931 and is rich in historical background, being located on one of the oldest settlements in Australia (Parramatta) and only minutes from the 2000 Olympic Games site. The course itself is a true test of golf and boasts some of the best par 3's in the land. Accuracy rather than distance is the key to a good score on this course. Oatlands was home to USPGA tour winner Peter Lonard, as both a Junior Member and Club Professional. Oatlands has hosted many Professional Tournaments and most recently the inaugural 2006 NSW Ladies Open.
